Lake Helen Coffee & Tea Company opened in Lake Helen in the summer of 2006. The idea for the cafe came from the many small cafes my wife and I visited when we vacationed in Europe. Every neighborhood there has a little cafe where folks meet morning and evening to discuss the days events over a cup of coffee and a pastry.
Our cafe is just off Lakeview Drive on Park Street. The front of the cafe with its courtyard of colorful umbrella tables is a pleasant environment in which to start your day. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of Lake Helen, the amiable conversation, a tasty meal, and of course your favorite expresso-based coffee or a smoothie while you’re here.
